Done deal! :likey . I made it much easier to find specific models. I am (still in process) uploading the data here: If you want to incorporate the data.

Thanks for to all that have shared. I will be painting "Rumble Bee" Soon and that would not have been possible without members help. Big updates coming!

Thanks Devin! Not sure where you find the time to do all this.

If we get solid info, I will add it to the model specs when that project gets more mature! I spoke yesterday with Enduronut, and we are planning some very cool site upgrades!

The 1973 dt3 dark green on my bike the fuel tank is darker then the oil tank and headlamp. I researched a ppg color from a 2000-2006 nissan ppg #402508 VI the more vivid variant formula. we use envirobase water base with clear the color is inbetween the fuel tank and the other parts. this would be a good option instead of a tricoat

I will check out what you mentioned. The oil tank, fork ears, fuel tank, and headlight should match. If your tank is darker it must have been covered/protected from UV Rays. or replaced.

my dt3 is a low milage original got it from original owner has always been garaged. the tank was sprayed on the heavy side and buried the metallic the parts are close but not exactly the same. being a collision painter I notice it but most people wouldnt. great thread nice to see someone trying to keep colors up to date.
