Must be 64 or later because it has Autolube...  65 would be my guess.  I will try to look up VIN later.

My grandfather has passed away and grandma didnt even knew he had motorcycles so she gave it to me. Its been in a dilapidated barn falling in on itself for the past decade but it was under roof.

Hi,

it is a 1965 YDS3 250cc. You can see that on the early front fender and the colours. 1964 had round tankbadges.

Will be a 6 volt system too by memory so don't go buying a 12 volter of the same shape--if there is one-- by mistake or might see smoke.

Thanks i had no idea about the volts thanks abunch guys i really appreciate all of you. Im going to try and restore this as best as possible. Any tip pointer or just personal experience you would like to pass on all will be gladly accepted and appreciated. I plan on disassembly followed by sand blasting of parts. I want to keep this as original as possible.
