according to the spec sheet it gets that at 40 KPH which works out to 24.8 mph.

I can't ride myself going that slow unless under adverse certain conditions.

As I have mentioned earlier in this thread...I am using photos of Tom White Ascot as a blueprint for my build....

One of the few remaining major items I was looking are the Ascot's rare carbs pictured here.

I had resigned myself to using a set of 24mm Mikuni s from a 1964 YDS3....not correct but the would work just fine

Fortunately I was able to find the correct 24mm Mikuni/Amal carbs !!!!!

After studying both the photos and the carbs very closely...

I am satisfied they are indeed the correct carbs!

These carbs have some very unique features....

That is really cool. Seriously cool.

They look to be in extremely nice condition too! What a score.

Terdra was kind enough to forward pictures of the pipes he has....

Unfortunately we have not been able to come to an agreement on the sale of the pipes at this point because of Terdra's very limited time.

I am really hopeful we can work something out and make the sale happen.....as these pipes need a home and my Ascot looks to be the right place for them.

Terry it was great to speak to you and hopefully we can make the sale happen...as this would really help me complete my Ascot project.

Once I have the correct pipes ...I plan to begin to assembling the bike.

Thanks again.... :likey

Dave,
If you get these pipes, there is a person that I have used before that can take the dents out of the pipes. He does really good work and he is in Orange county, Ca.
Hope you get them !
