Well, it's been a while since I did any Enduro related work, but thanks to Makotosun, I'm on this site.
As far as an introduction, I have done some restoration/modification work on a couple of JTs, and have several 1977/1978 DT400 project bikes that will actually be rideable one of these days. That is, once I clear off the CBX project covering most of the shop. And get some service work done on my other rides. Oh, and maybe get the JTs running and out of my garage.
I did do some riding with some Enduro guys at a local gathering back when that was first happening. Which reminds me, I really need to get out on the trails more.
I'm sure if I start reading some of the project threads here, I'll get motivated all over again.

Glad we got you on finally!

YOu need to keep an ear to the ground for MEIS as he will be planning another SoCal ride this spring at Hungry Valley. I came down last year and won't miss it this year if scheduling permits! Take some time and poke around. Lots of new stuff happening here.

The 500 is still here, although I need to fully recover from my recent knee surgery before riding that thing.
I just helped my son load up last night for his ride at Hungry Valley today. Wish I was going, too.

Is that a KDX200 in the back of the truck in circle camp ? My son and I own a couple, good bikes. We are also looking forward to the December ride Dave had mentioned earlier.

Yeah, the Enduro guys let me ride my KDX and KX with them once or twice back in the beginning. Heck, they even tried the KX.
I may be ready in December.

We are down the freeway from you in Long Beach, not so far. My son Arin and I are planning on attending the December ride in Hungry Valley with Dave Meis and the gang. Got to meet many of the members of the club on the last one, was a blast.

I found your brick red build thread. Looks great.
Regarding the KDXs, maybe you and your son and me and my son should get some Team Green riding in this winter. Once i get on the bike again, maybe we can plan a local ride or two.

Where was that picture taken ? Looks like Kennedy Meadows...

I am sure we can figure something out. What would be cool is a plated Silverado Canyon ride, off Santiago canyon road above Irvine. That would be a easy fire road enduro ride, however, with the fire danger present, it may be a long time before they open the main gate.

For now, Hungry valley would be the best with the Yamaha guys, and we can go from there.
