Hard to see the Brake Stay from these photos.

It was flat, with that center ridge, instead of the standard black, round ?

Hi Guys ...... been through one of my files and thought I'd post some more pics/info up ..... nothing as ground breaking as the red frame bike but that has connected one or two things for me .....

So Feb '68 Cycle World article as most of you wiil have seen features a prototype on the cover .... basically the same bike from the 'Meet the Exciters' magazine pull out advert but from a different angle but with a black tank badge ..... also easier to see the headlamp fixing bars which i assume are pre ears?

Headlamp fixing bars again .....

This bike is tested and along with another which is a GYT kitted machine ... its not easy to tell in black and white but this looks like it may have a red frame and forks?

I think the red frame bike also feature's in the riders manual but again it's in black and white so i previously assumed that the frame was black and the fork tubes were dark as well. You can also see the black clocks ......interestingly i have both the red 250 single enduro and blue 250 trial versions ..... only seen the blue one once so bought it!

Inside it jumps around between the red frame/chrome oil tank bike and the more conventional bike that went into production ...

Running on from the red frame dealer flyer I have what I now guess are the later type flyers ... again slightly different in the 'enduro' & 'single' type which again I assume is for the US and Japan/Australia .....

Lastly it also looks like the bike was produced in candy gold/black pinstripe for the japanese & australian market ...

I'll have a look through my manuals/parts catalogues for more info when I get a moment ...
