I would be interested in a good scan of the red frame for the tech library if anyone obtains one of these brochures!

I got the tool box out and snapped some shots with my Go Pro. this camera does not have auto focus,no zoom feature and was intended for videos.

the early tool box does have a pin rather than a cotter pin as the hinge on the tool box.

I asked Makotosun if he could put up a new group discussion board called the 1968 DT1 owner's group and it is up and running.

this particular bike is worthy of it's own forum where we can share pictures,Ideas, facts and stories about these machines.

the sky is the limit there!

I got my early 1968 DT1 assembled as a roller with the engine in it.

I plan on posting it up over there and there will be side to side comparisons with a mid year later production 1968 DT1. it is interesting what got changed during the production model year of these bikes.

WW & T1,
re: early toolbox design. I've started disassembling '68 dt1 I picked up couple of months ago, VIN DT1-0240x and toolbox has the round cover latch and pin for hinge - same as WW bike.
Thanks
