Thanks Darinm.  I did find my answers in earlier posts, but not until after I posted my question. I missed them the first time reading through the posts.  Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.

Hey Darinm,
In reading through all of the posts, I see were a lot of guys post Dupli Color DE1615 but most don't have the color labeled.  One that I found had silver and another had aluminum engine enamel. Would you please clarify.  I cannot seem to find silver.  I can find aluminum and gray, but not silver.  The fender looks silver to me.
Appreciate the help in advance.

Not clear what you are asking...  DE1615 is the exact part number of the paint.  Color name is "aluminum" if I remember correctly.  In any case if you get that number, it will be that color.

Others use DE1650 which is "cast aluminum".  I think.

Both are great matches.  I like the 1615.

There are other aluminum paint colors that are an exact match or better’ but DE 1615 base and a mist of clear gloss is the simplest way to success…

Mark,
Yesterday when I googled Dupli Color DE 1615, that number came up with every color from white to black and everything in between assigned to it. Today I googled it again after reading your post and only aluminum engine paint came up.  IDK what happened. Regardless, I have my answer.

Thanks - Mike.

Finally got a chance to redo my CT2 the same color as my AT1C that Devin shared in page two of this thread. Here is the original AT1C pic without the photobucket stamp, along with pics of the new paint and my paint booth. I kept the oil tank original factory finish (complete with obligatory mid tank dent) to compare the metalcast color with Yamaha original paint.

Here is how it finished up. Not an exact match, but close to original.

Yes, that looks lovely.
Don't you think that modern bikes are boring as far as paint goes?
That splash of colour looks great.

Exactly the post I was looking for...a DIY on the Candy Green! Hell yes! I looked at the Marbles products as well but wasn't sure I wanted to drop $43 a can on this project.

A few questions if you or anyone knows the answer. Here are the Duplicolor part numbers I think apply but wanted to be sure. I've already ordered 2 cans of the metalcast green MC203
Self Etching Primer - DAP1690
White Primer. Assume its the sandable version - DAP 1689 but I saw others used the gray primer sealer (DAP1699)
Flat Black - assume standard flat black paint. I know it's just a dusting to sand and find imperfections
White Base - should this be the enamel gloss (DA 1670 or flat DA 1672) or something else?
Metal Cast Ground Coat - silver? MS200 or MC100? There's also a green version MS500 but I think you mean the MC100 www.duplicolor.com/product/metalcast-anodized-automotive-paint/
