I went forward this weekend with repainting my LT2. Ordered decals from Diablo but couldn't wait to see the result so did a loose install. Huge thanks to Devin for pointing me in the right direction for an off the shelf candy green option that could work. Just need to take it to the next level and take it down to the frame and clean everything up.

Just a question regarding the often recommended Duplicolor DE1615 for the silver fenders...
I picked up an old front fender in real nice shape for my '75 DT250-B and I need to paint it.  Seeing as the DE1615 is marketed as a high heat engine enamel with ceramic, will it adhere ok to the plastic?  Also, does anyone recommend a specific primer before the final coat on plastic parts such as the front fenders?
Thanks in advance!

Still need to do tank decal and clear coat for my 69 CT1 but here is the outcome. Had a custom match at a locate auto paint store. I can ask for the formula if anyone needs it. Haven’t seen this color discussed yet.

Stopped by House of Kolor for a few cans of spray max clear and asked about a candy color to better match the CT3 than the VHT burnt copper. Here are a few swatches. I personally think the lighter one called pagan gold would work great.

I have a 72 mini enduro and 71 DT1 250.  They are both supposed to be mandarin orange when I look up the serial numbers.  However the 250 is clearly lighter in color.  Either it is faded or a different color.  It really waxed up nice and does have a nice shine so maybe it is supposed to look that shade of orange.  Any thoughts ?

Sometime back I had some nos headlamp ears and a nos oil tank for a 71 250.
Paint didn't match on them either. I think that color was one of the worse to
fade that Yamaha made. D
