about 15 min.
Start spraying 3 clear light coats, about 15-20 min apart @ about 80deg, depending on outside temp. On the 4th coat little heavy last coat heavy. Each coat becomes more sticky so in theory the last will be really tacky so less chance of runs.
This method has worked very well for me.
Please note I'm not a professional painter. I have learned this by time and lots of mistakes.

I think I went through all pages before asking, but a question on my DT175MX that I want to spray white, would this be the same paint as the post on the DT1 pearl white posted on page 3? That sort of looks metallic To me and wondered if anyone could advise before I buy?
TIA.

The picture below shows my fender on my RT1 which I painted and the fender off my CT1 with the original silver which has been protected by the mud flap.
As a direct comparison I think it's very good in the low level of gloss too.
