I have found MarkT, RT360, Enduronut, G8tuncle and so many others very helpful and kind too....especially when I am confused or off base.
Sometimes I see someone come across as snarky or snippy and I just ignore, my thought being that it could be merely a style thing or just me...and even if they did intend to be a weanie, responding only ruins the vibe.
THanks MarkT and all the other experts for investing so much emotional energy and time in this site

I'm definitely guilty of "feeding the troll". I'll do better.

I was glad to see that GARY addressed this Déjà vu thread. I am happy because I believe that it’s going to bring back some continuity to the forum community.
For many many years, both Yamaha forums were a place to go where there was not any bickering. It was always people helping people. In these tough times that we’re experiencing globally things have changed and people have become petty. The toilet paper shortage would be a good example of a, dog eat dog society.
Someone, can choose to be here or be somewhere else, but announcing it publicly is juvenile.

Mark Ctune from FB Yamaha Enduro Appreciation Group ( administrator ) was asking about EnduroNut?
Gary had posted several different style nuts and the various nuts we have here.
I politely told Mark, EN said his goodbyes…. Lurking behind the sofa emoji…

Also, I'm not sure that "post count" is an complete representation of "contributions"... That said, the truth is counting both live and "archived" posts Mako has more than twice the posts of Enduronut and Devin combined. Gr8uncleal has more posts here than Enduronut and Devin combined. Don't sell yourself short. Nearly everyone that has posted here is what makes this place the best!
I have read this thread twice. The above comment from Mark T made me think of why some posts have high numbers and others don't. Lets take Devin for example. I don't know him from Adam. I know he lives in the USA and he is or was in the forces. One thread that a good 75% of people, old and new on this brilliant web site have got a valuble pointer from is the paint thread.
He possibly responded two dozen times,i don't know and im not counting ,but my point is this.
You either have something valuble to input that only needs to be said once or twice, not a hundred times.
So say valuble things . That's how this site will keep going along. If people want to leave, then so be it.
If you think it needs help then help financially or contact Mako, another man i don't know, along with Deet who are two people on here who have helped me personally with enduro related items,as have Mark T and others.
People change. People see to the neaqr future as they have experienced what goes wrong when with things like this.
After all,one day well be dead,so none of it will matter one bit.
Enjoy what you can when you can with what you've got.
I've no problem with any body so don't be insulted by what i've wrote.
Love Dave.

I think this thread has run its course. Nothing positive can come of it. What is done is done.

Personally’ I like to rake the coals from time to time, to put some fresh oxygen inside the blue green hue fire and send yama-smoke signals.
This website is NOT GOING TO SUFFER A LONG DELAYED PAINFUL DEATH because three people left the building! ( now who is this knit-wit talking about a third person ) direct message-event coordinator.
Think of it this way, parting is such sweet sorrow.

I would like for everybody to be happy, but I know that that’s just not plausible.
