I thought HT1 kid might have figured it out. I tried to zoom in... I can clearly see the condenser wire. I can't clearly see a ground wire to the condenser case. Maybe it's there though?

Yep i slowed the video right down & cranked the clarity up as hard as i could & thought i could see a wire swinging from the other side of the condenser. Hope OP gets it sorted.

Just got back from a weekend trip. Yes the condenser is grounded I just went out and tripple checked. Points are not acting like a welder either. Still need to cut off my spark plug wire and re install the plug boot.

plan for the week is to find the new condenser home, check timing and sort plug wire. Also think the carb is worth a check too as it seems to run different every time

Small update, I cut the spark plug wire and reinstalled the boot as well as opened up the carb but all was well in there as far as I could tell. Bike started right up and ran much better than in my previous video but will still stop at 4k rpm untill the fuel bowl gets low then it will get higher. I will try and post a video in the next few days. Hard only working on it a half hour at a time.

Got a few minutes between jobs today to take a video. Here’s how it runs. You can see it stall out at 4000 rpm. When I put the video down I shut off the fuel so you can see after a while it’ll rev to 5500 when the bowls get low. Not the best video but atleast you guys can here it run.

On my phone so hope I’m on the dt2 not revving out. Video clearly shows it’s purely super rich in my opinion. So question is why. First thought is the dreaded Oring on the jet setter sealing into the bowl. Or it’s got no main jet in the jet holder in the bowl side fitting. Or the needle had been left out of the slide. Sounds worse than choke left on. I withdraw any exhaust cleaning posts as doesn’t sound that way at all. You’re not holding it wide open as I would to see if it clears but sound is good enough for me to be sure it won’t clear. Hope I’m on right post haha.

Rich is what I’ve been thinking but idk how how. Like I said I’ve changed the o ring multiple times and the main jet is in there as well as the needle!!! Maybe I need to take the carb a part and show you guys what’s going on and what all the setting are at!

Okay took the carb off again. The main jet is a 150 which is stock and clear. Pilot is a 30 stock as well. 1 1/4 turn out on the mixture. Needle is 3rd from bottom and slide is a 1.5 cutout. The part that holds the o ring is from a parts dt3 as my original one broke and there is no markings on this one. Also my needle jet holder (I think that’s what it’s called, the thing that the o-ringed part threads into) fell out once and I might’ve put that in facing the wrong way? Other than that everything seems in order to me. I forgot I can’t add photos here. Have to figure out how to do that.
