Out and about with my mate Bernie and his recently acquired AT1.
We tried out a new Byway, both decided the ford (river crossing) was too deep and managed a shandy by the river at the pub.
Now he's got his own vintage Yamaha he can stop borrowing mine
 
 

Type One, I learned about the Malle Mile for the first time in Classic Bike Magazine. It sounds like a wonderful event with a ton of fun. It also looks like folks don't take themselves or the event seriously, one of the things that bugs me about our AHRMA events here in the states. I'm always looking for vintage friendly events that are less serious. Thank you for your posting.

Malle is a great event … we will be racing on the beach in a few weeks time …. 
I fear the event is becoming very popular and larger/commercial so really hope it doesn’t loose the culture and identity that makes it so much fun to be part of….. 
It’s competitive but in a good way ….
