Hey Wes, I did find a guy on FB but haven't had anything done, been spending way too much money on getting the Tenere outfitted so cash has been low. As for soda blasting, it does a descent job just cleaning things up but don't think it will do anywhere near the job vapor blasting will do. I have a small 21 gallon compressor so I bought a hand held harborfreight soda gun to clean up some parts, of course the compressor couldn't keep up but what I could do before running out of air did clean the parts fairly descent. If I had the room I'd save up and invest in a vapor blast setup...
As for retirement, I did 5 1/2 years ago and have been so much happier since. I did give up some money from SSN for taking it at the earliest I could but don't regret it!

Hey MarkT I got the micro hone I talked to there tech guy for about 20 minutes he said I could up trade if I want to later I told him exactly what I needed it to do also with any vapor blaster you should use it once a week as the slurry will harden if you drain it in a bucket eventually it will harden like concrete I’m going to send you a message

MarkT when I talked to the Technician at VHT one of my questions was about the quality compared to the weekend warrior he said the quality was the same except it takes longer because most people don’t have a big enough air compressor I do have a 60 gallon 5 hp plus a reefer (a/c) dryer for my sandblast cabinet he said for motorcycle carbs, cases and so forth I should be good they sell quite a few to motorcycle guys. They sell used ones for cheaper but I bought a new one for free shipping
PS I do have running water and a drain in my garage
