Your sons bike looks to be in pretty darn good original condition Wes, it looks complete minus mirrors but other than that very nice!

Helped a friend move his mother today so no new bike riding. A part that I ordered did come today though so I put that on the bike. I feel kinda bad my DT400 has been put on the back burner but will get back on that soon.

Thanks Tony of course the first thing he has to order is brake shoes it really only needs a really good cleaning and polish the chrome. I told him the carbs need to be cleaned we hooked up a AT2 battery and the estart works so that’s good will keep you posted maybe you can ride your new bike tomorrow

Good morning Wes, yeah the brakes for sure!  I'll bet it cleans up nice, couldn't see any rust on it from the pictures so polishing should be easy, hopefully all the chrome polishes up nicely since it costs so darn much to re-chrome.  82* and no rain today, you bet I'll be riding the new bike

Thanks MarkT,Tony so much for caring yes I have a lot to do to get caught up. Question for you Tony didn’t you send some parts to get Vapor Blasted off Facebook if so how did they turn out. I got the closed loop VHT vapor honing they had free shipping direct from the warehouse they also will let you trade it back for a larger machine I triple checked to make sure all of the Yamaha parts would fit including the lower forks I’m also going to do a test on soda vs vapor to see the results. I also got sooo much to do at work right now but hopefully I will be retiring pretty soon Thanks again gosh I feel so good

Also I have some spare parts to get the slurry correct I can’t send pictures yet as it’s at work still in the box I will be more than happy to do some spare parts for you to see the finish. I’m itching to get it setup and roll like a kid in a candy store lol
