Hello from South Korea!
I'm in the process of creating a really bad addiction and need to get the last bit - an IT490.
I'm old (HS class of '80) and fat, so I want something that is powerful. I used to ride a YZ465 and had a Bill Bell Honda XL453, so I'm very familiar with bikes that are hard to kick over.
I WILL BE buying a bike in a few months and shipping it here, so feel free to message me if you have one to sell or know of one for sale - I'd appreciate it!
There is a killer deal in Houston ($1,800) right now, but my better half said no. The corona virus scare has put a damper on our business and we need to sit pat until things blow over.
Here's the link - austin.craigslist.org/mcy/d/dripping-spr...t490/7084409357.html
I sincerely welcome any and all advice.
Baron

TFMK(tm) here from Washington State. I brought home a '76 DT100 not too long ago. Just started cleaning it up today. I'm here to ask questions and gather parts and share my restoration story with like minded people! Cheers!

Welcome
Nice looking 100. I have one that I refurbished as an off-road version because it was missing too many parts to be worth the investment. It turned out to be one of my favorites.

I think yours is a 1975, same as mine.

My name is George but friends call me Kaos. I am 73 years old got married and sold my first batch of bikes back around 1978. At that time I had a Kawasaki 250 and Hodaka 100 enduro along with Norton Combat Commando, Royal Enfield and a Maico. Back around 1988 I acquired an old Harley XLCH which I rode for a year traded off for an FLH which I rode for a year then bought a new Heritage Softail. Rode that for a couple of years and have been bikeless for about ten year until I picked up a 79 Honda CT90 trail and a 73 Yamaha DT3 250 neither of which had been ridden in 15 years. I got the Honda running great after about a month and am currently working on the Yamaha. I am having some problems and will likely have lots of questions regarding wiring and troubleshoting.

Yes, Goes back to my university days where my friends hung the name on me as I was so of a "high energy" type.
