ok managed to source a shaft for 17 bucks stateside

See if you can find a bearing with slightly larger OD. Machine so it fits.

its being shimmed with stainless steel insert same id as bearing od 
thought might be possible to JB weld and maybe washers either side perhaps to secure it but decided worth getting done properly, managed a good price on the shaft considering between £150-£180 new

yeah he has the case and bearing
worked on loads of 2 strokes so knows the score

quick question as should be getting back together once all the bits arrive
can i ask the routung of 16 in image above
as it was apparently justin casing when i took apart
presume it runs inside the shaft the clutch attched to?
