Mark this carb has a UFO in it and a 35 pilot will make it waaaay too rich , the ufo causes a stronger and soone pull of the needle jet .  Tony if your aie screw wont make a difference at 2 or so turns out a smaller pilot would be better maybe a 17.5. The crackle I hear at your low ttrottle position probabley would like the needle dropped a notch.  OR cut the arch a half mm . But still hearing the full range of acceleration would be great ,

Rich, the 20 I put back in it smoothed out the part throttle where as the 15 gave it that crackle.  I can get a 17.5 Tuesday and give that a go.  Now full throttle is doing it, not quite as bad though.  I can drop the needle so it's on the second position from the top if you think that would help.  I will say I did drop it to the second from the bottom which made no difference.  I currently have a 200 main jet in it, which ran fine when I first put it in but the bike decided it didn't like it.  The next smallest jet I have is a 350. 

EDIT:  Oh and sorry all, I completely forgot the UFO.  Also, what do you mean by the arch Rich? 

Jetting can be a chase, changing one jet effects another, a rich idle jet could be covering up a lean needle jet or slide cutaway  and so on.If you don't already have it, here's a link for the Mikuni tuning manual.And go with what ever Rich (racerclam) says.Good luck,
