THAT SEEMS QUITE REASONABLE. THANKS!

Yeah I was very surpised when I went to check out, the price for the kit was like $303.xx  or there's about, and when I checked out I was prepared for a hefty shipping fee but it was just about $30.xx Well worth the money!

The one I found for my DT2 was around $450 from HVCcycle.net, it has the option for ignition kit with lights and battery for $523. Where did you get yours?

Order directly from VAPE, if you register on their website the price is a bit cheaper, by about $30 (which pretty much pays for shipping).  VAPE Powerdynamo

Checked out the Vape website out of general interest. Looks like a great deal.  Nice instructions too.  Maybe one day....?

It's well worth it!  I just changed my crank seals, after timing it it took two kicks on a dead cold motor to start it up.

I'm trying to order from Vape and I gotta email asking if my magneto is mitsubishi?Baseplate 130mm? Is rotor fixed with a nut? I replied that its a stock DT2 and baseplate has 3 screws, not sure about if its a Mitsubishi mag?

Hi Bartman 512,
I checked the flywheel that was taken off my DT3 when the electronic 12v system was installed.
It's a Mitsubishi that was fitted originally.

Hi guys,
I have a Vape system installed on my RT3 and a Panasonic 12V battery fits perfect. There´s even space for the AC-DC converter and I even stuffed an overvoltage protection in the box. Not one blown bulb yet and never needed to extracharge the battery either.
