100% agree on the original Metal MX Fenders... how any of them survived is a miracle and for sure adds a TON of Value to the bike/s

Reed valve Richards

I have not tested it... but based on their info I assume will be VERY Durable-  Here are their details on the Chassis Paint

Yes,  Eastwood Chassis Paint  is formulated to withstand gasoline, brake fluid, and other solvents, making it highly suitable for undercarriage components, suspension parts, and frames. Specifically, Eastwood's Extreme Chassis Black features three times more resins, offering superior resistance to fuel, chips, and corrosion compared to standard coatings

I also meant to add when applying the Final 3rd- smooth gloss coat... keep the spray can moving as the surface at this point is very smooth from all the steps performed and the 2nd coat Fully cured and dry.... if you spray 3rd coat to heavy in any spot it will run on you... Keep a distance of about 10 to 12" and at a nice smooth pace lay down the paint to a wet look so it looks just like the way you want to see it when it dries.... :)

Where are you living now? I haven't seen you since CA Dreamin' 2019, and have been largely off the site since then. I got a new right knee and won't risk it on my RT-3 as a result. It needs a home with someone on here - then I'll at least know it's gone to a good home. If anyone reads this, I have spares (lots) to keep it running for 15 - 20 years, and it needs a GOOD HOME! Keep up the stories sir! You, as always, are an INSPIRATION to the rest of us mere mortals! BLESSINGS!

Hey Hammer-  Great to hear from you and good to hear you doing good!  Man I sure miss the riding and hanging out with you all there in SOCAL... we sure had some GREAT Events / Rides out there.  I remember your RT3 360- Solid bike!  someone out there should buy it from you for sure!

We sold our homes in Colorado and moved to the Tyler Texas area (East Texas) to be closer to our Kids and Grandkids...  Was a great move for us and I am now Retired from the Corp world and life is real good!
