Here is a sneak preview. A condenser made for an older Jeep CJ. Lead wire from condenser allowed me to make a T splice set up by changing the wire end using Vintage Connections piece. I also made a jumper wire for grounding condenser. One end goes to side of condenser and the other end under the bolt which mounts the coil to the frame. New condenser is now under gas tank. 10 mile ride this morning showed good results so far. Time will tell.

^ very cool.

So you soldered the 3 wires at the flywheel together and tucked them away?

The new condenser with the wire goes straight to the ignition coil and is also grounded.

Just saw it.
Simple enough!
What year is the condenser off of?

Does anyone have a legible wiring diagram for the 1975 dt175 they could share?

I can’t see on the one in the site even when I zoom in.

Hi buddy have a look on this site under the heading of wiring diagram in colour as I posted up a PDF on the 28th of May. It’s pretty good but may need a couple of mods on the brake light feeds, other than that it should work for you. If you need any pictures my bikes outside just now and I am at work so wouldn’t be a big deal for me to go and do a few snaps for you! good luck
