I am creating this thread for all to use and share. If you find a color that is close to factory or even a custom paint please share the information here!. I know lots of people will appreciate it. 
The Yamaha paint codes from 50 years ago are of no use today. If you take the paint codes to a paint shop they will scratch there head as the code was only used by Yamaha.
A good website I have found, if you know a vehicle that has a color used, that was close to a Yamaha. You can find the factory paint and order it from the link below.
If you are looking for a pristine show room paint job I would suggest using Marble motors. He specializes in painting vintage bikes and can mix them to be very close to original. He has several options and will do any body work, welding, tank liner etc. His website is below, to view some of his fine work. If you are like me and want to save some money, he also will sell you the paint and you can try and do it yourself.
