I have a fix but the old girl won't original. Your light is 6 volt and I couldn't find one anywhere. They still make it in 12 volt.
Mine kept blowing bulbs (an old factory problem that was never corrected) I ordered a 6 volt bulb from Amazon that would fit into the factory lamp. Took the yellow wire off of the mag connection and connected it to the battery pos. terminal. Works fine now. Mine had about 20 volts ac to the headlamp. This was the only way I could fix it. It all looks completely stock and original. The bulb you can't get put is mounted in a rubber grommet. Just have to gently screw with it, eventually it will come out.

The voltage coming from the magneto is AC not DC. You would need a rectifier on the wire before attaching it to a battery.
