Have you reached the changeover stage yet from "Dad, slow down" to "Dad, keep up"?! :ROFLOL

When my oldest started riding, in 2007, all we did was trail riding. He entered a couple of pee wee hare scrambles and always finished in last place. We started racing vintage motocross in 2011. He would go out there and just trail ride around the track earning him the nickname Putt-Putt. Three years ago, when he was 15, it was like a switch flipped in his head. If he didn’t crash or breakdown he often won. I can no longer hang with him on the track and he has become a better trials rider than me. The only place I still have the advantage is single track trails, but not by much. My youngest just made the jump from minis to full size bikes. He has absolutely no fear so my days of being out front are numbered.

Our daughter ( has 4 little kids) has still found some time to get out and enjoy the 1994 TW200 that I recently refurbished for her - on a nice fine day in our Winter. Good to see.

Nice one Pete! One of your photos?

Believe it or not, I had to leave the field injured yesterday whilst doing a bit of umpiring! :EEEK

Some muppet of a fielder hit me with the ball (on the elbow) whilst aiming at the stumps. Still, at least it wasn't my bowling arm and I should be ok for next week.

We have to provide our own tea at the moment, as a precaution against Covid.

I had to run some errands and thought I’d have a ride on the XR.
Was pretty busy until I found some smaller roads in the countryside.
Happened across the cricket match so stopped and watched a few overs.
Just as I left the chap hit a six which went across the road narrowly missing a car, I left them to search for the ball.
Hope you’re sports injury heals quickly :)

Yesterday in The Idaho Panhandle National Forest. My brother Roger and his XT225, and my DT125B. We are contemplating where we are, how we got there, and how we will get out of the mess we are in. Let's just say we were in over our heads. This trail would be one some of you guys with way more experience [and power] would love. Me? Not so much. Only dismounted quickly once into the soft forest loam, though. Roger said he thinks I'm probably the only 66-YO to take a vintage 125 over this mountain; we're betting most are riding a 360 or better.
