Have you oiled the cable with something dark in color & it’s dripping out down there.

Haven't oiled the cable, but did spray some Brakeclean on top of the case, and maybe that loosened up something that flowed down where the tubes enter the case. I've removed the pump a couple of times, and while 2 stroke oil comes out of it when I do, I haven't seen and trans oil leaking through from the other side. My only concern was that the black oil could be mixing with the oil in the pump.

Schu, I've put over 40 miles on it yesterday and today. Testing for leaks is a great excuse to ride

Maybe I'll have to test it one more time today...

The only possible oil leaking from there would be two stroke oil.

I'm now pretty sure the black stuff is from when I sprayed some Brakeclean on top of the case, and it flowed into the dead area in the upper right side case, where the 2 autolube tubes come in. Then when riding it heated up and flowed down onto the pump.

One last follow-up. I cleaned the upper "dead area" out with electrical cleaner, and cleaned the pump. Black stuff pooled at the bottom, and I cleaned that out. Nice sunny day today so I rode for 15 miles, and it's completely dry inside. Looks like the new seal under the prime wheel and the HF copper washers are working. Sorry, Harley riders, no drips here
