When i was a kid i painted my BSA Bantam motor silver all over, even spark plug & probably the cap. Wouldnt run. Spark was shorting down the plug paint to earth haha. Ya never forget things like that, but then again--who would paint their spark plug anyway--umm.

As RT325 said “when I was a kid” I too am guilty of that type of paint artistry on a Suzuki rm80, I was even one the kids who had a 1971 CT175 and used Bondo body filler to fill in where the tank badges were, now I have seen several threads on this forum asking the best way to remove the body filler from badge bikes, I shake my head and think well at least I wasn’t the only dumb kid that filled in that area with body filler.
