I've been using this for mounting tires. Works very well even with rim locks.
I put the wheel on a trash can.

Changed the tire on my old V8 Quattro last week. Never again. Had me puffing that's for sure. Had to keep the tire compressed into the 'well' as best i could but had a quite shallow 'well' & a damn stiff old tyre didn't helpĀ . Pumped up & held air. Think i lost one of my rim saving plastic things. Or did i. Didn't count how many i started with. Hope its not inside haha.
