One thing for certain, the racks for that model are one of the more plentiful out there, so if you are looking for a better one, they can be found.

Here is an example of a painted rack that I repurposed to fit my 17 SCR950. I had cut off the original brackets, welded some new brackets, and then painted it cast aluminum and clear coated. It has held up well going on two years.
