Yamaha luggage rack ??? was created by yamahahaha
I picked up a CT3 parts bike and this rack was attached but it had a weld attached to hold a silencer YES that is a Suzuki silencer for a GSXR or something.. My question is can that weld be removed without messing up the rack???

It can be removed without compromising the structural integrity, however, the visual damage to the chrome will be very obvious and will undoubtedly rust on the area unless painted over. That was one UGLY muffler!

No heat shield? Ugly AND painful!

As my mate Pete used to say, everything's got the right to be ugly, but that's abusing the privilege!
Or maybe it fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down!
I wonder if a side pannier full of ballast was needed to be added on the other side to balance things up?!
