Paints been curing a couple of days looks sharp with a ton of clear on it. big list of new parts on the way allready and the rear shock is disassembled getting a refresh and the klx300 upside downs getting a birthday shouldn't be long before it's a rolling chassis ready for an engine

I was a parts manager at a Kawasaki dealer in the mid 80’s I always loved that Kawasaki green! That bike is coming along quick.

Looks good.

Looks like your using better paint then I did. I went cheap, found VHT Grabber Green that matched really close, then top with Spray Max clear.
Thanks Mark

It's just 1k acrylic lacquer and clear, paint matched using the kawasaki colour code that matched the frame was 70nz dollers for 200mls and some clear came out the exact colour as the stock frame just extra shiney hahaha and it makes the plastics look rubbish

My 01 had big suspension issues, the swing arm, shock linkage bearings were like dust, also the shock needed rebuilding. Plus all the wheel bearings and steering bearings were shot. I think he power washed it with salt water.

Yeah this one's just been ridden to death no maintenance no repairs must of been so horrible to ride with it all so flogged out and with so much engine wear. It's going to ride like a new bike when I'm done little bit excited
