Yamaha CT1 Honda MR175 cylinder image piston swap

Here are the MR and CT1 pistons at TDC. What can one expect with the larger opening in the side ports with the CT1 piston?

No problem or effect at all.

The thing that's going to make a difference is intake port is going to open earlier and close later due to the shorter skirt on the CT piston.

Also make sure the skirt of the CT1 piston covers the intake port width-wise when the piston is down. It look like it will be close.
