Well crap!  I went to Lowes, bought an adapter for my drill so I could put a socket on it and now I have no spark   Good news is I can now turn the motor over at a high RPM with the drill...

Something seems to be going on with your CDI, or you've got a bad connection somewhere. I don't know anything about CDI so I can't help in that regard. On the other hand, if you have a really powerful cordless drill, hook it up and go for a ride 

LOL my cordless drill wouldn't turn it over very well so I had to use my corded drill, I do have a couple hundred foot cords

I did take the stator out and clean things up, wonder if I didn't screw something up there.  I'm going to take it back apart stator wise and see what I can see.  Maybe do some reading in the service manual to see if I can figure out if the coils on stator are bad or maybe CDI but electrical is NOT my forte!
