Tomorrow will see the front mudguard painted and the rear one fitted along with the rear light assembly.
Today i received a new front brake mount for the handlebars so the cable is on and brake connected .Kick start fitted .
Im having problems fitting the seat covers . There the type that have the rigid plastic cable around the seat cover and it sticks out when you try to clamp it down on the location tabs.
Suggestions welcome as it's something i'm not doing as the DT3 seat is the same.
So as soon as the shocks are sorted it's on with the wiring ,points and condenser ,ignition timing and making an air filter as you have more chance of seeing god down at pub buying a round than finding one here in the UK.
I.'ve got TY & CT1 elements to start with and some wire mesh.Time for a bit of inventing.

You may have read this on some of my other posts already Dave, but I'm lucky enough to have an upholstery business half a pitching wedge's distance from my house and so I get them to fit my seat covers for me. I know the limit of my abilities and so am happy to pay a professional when the need arises!

If it's the type of seat cover that's also on the RT2, RD350 etc, then that hard cable was originally stitched into the cover - another reason I handed it to the pro to do!

So i tried to find the 90 decal for little Ronnie.
Not so easy. Got in touch with Image Works in Leicester ,et vouala , les voici.
Thought i'd took a camera shot of the decal fitted, but it's on my phone
Tomorrow will have to do.
Sold my Maico too. Motor cycle tokens gathering for my trip to the USA hopefully .

Not sure our US friends will fully get that one Dave (just like my Churchy dog picture)!

Edit

Dave, you need to post a clip or two of the relevant Fast Show characters!

Dave can you give me some info on your purple paint. I tried using marble motors and color isn’t right. What did you use?
