I recently got a 72 dt175 in pieces from my uncle. I cleaned the carb then a friend pointed out that im missing the throttle slide and some other parts to go with it. I was trying to find the throttle slide for the mikuni 443 61 carb on my bike but I can't find anything. I was hoping someone here would know what throttle slide and other parts for the carb id need.

thanks in advance

Welcome!

It's important to accurately identify what you have. Technically there wasn't a "DT175" in 1972.    From the Carb number you posted you might have a 1975 model?  Big difference, almost a completely different bike.  Check your VIN which should be stamped on the engine and steering head of the frame.  There are VIN tables in the Tech Library here.

What "other parts" are you missing?
1963 YG1-T, 1965 MG1-T, Allstate 250, 1970 CT1b, 1971 R5, 1973 AT3MX, 1974 TS400L, 1975 RD350, 1976 DT175C, 1976 Husqvarna 250CR, 1981 DT175G, 1988 DT50, 1990 "Super" DT50, 1991 RT180, 2017 XT250

the vin on the steering and engine is 443-009426. as for all the carb parts im missing, the throttle slide, needle, needle clip, cable anchor, throttle spring, and the washer.

The only reason why I say its a 72 is because it was my uncles and he said thats what it is, I have been wondering if thats the correct year though as I can't find much on it, and also it has the year 72 blue paint job with the white pin stripe on the gas tank, it doesn't have a year 75 paint job.

The vin table indicates a 1974 DT175A.

1974 had the blue tank with pinstripe and you have a 1974 VIN so it sounds like a 1974.

443 60 would be the 1974 carb 443 61 is 1975 carb number but they are pretty much identical so that doesn't matter at all.  I will see what parts I can find in my carb stuff, I might have some or all of what you need.

 from near Salisbury, UK.

All good advice so far.

If MarkT doesn't come up trumps, then fleabay is a good source for parts, but you MUST know what you're looking for - don't trust a seller's description!

Looks like CMSNL might have what you need - see link below.

Yamaha DT175 1974 USA CARBURETOR - buy original CARBURETOR spares online (cmsnl.com)

There are also specialists in Mikuni parts (looking here for someone in the US to confirm the main one), and these may well have what you need.

This should be one if yours is "72 model which makes it a CT2. Cost is a way over the top. I bought a cheap chinese carb for mine & goes like hell, no problems at all--just saying lol & i'll get scolded about chinese carbs--but i can take it,--i hope.

Here's just a sample but i used a push in fit type with a rubber manifold

Here's a page full. But if you look at the partzilla site on the pull down thing it shows YZ80 etc so widens your possibilties for a slide.
