First Run of the Year. was created by Tinkicker

Big Blue has not turned a wheel since last September when I drained the fuel and two stroke oil tank.  Refilled said tanks again and kick, kick, kick.  No noise, no smoke and no spark.  Cleaned the plug and tried again.  Nothing.
Thinking the devil bike was lifting my leg again, I fitted a new B9ES plug with a fair amount of trepidation.
Kick ringadingding. Started straight up.
Thing is, when put away she was running fine.

Took her for a 20 mile or so run and she ran well, really well, pulling much more strongly through the gears than I remember.  Maybe I lost some weight...

Top is still a tad overgeared though. She would be better with the stock 14 tooth on the front, instead of the 15, she cannot hit max power rpm in top, but first is ridiculously low for the road with the 14. Fifth is slightly faster, but runs out of steam before sixth can reach the max power range on the upchange.
Still, the higher gearing is better for highway use if not fussed about top speed.

Lounging around just outside the village..
