After evaluating the cost, space it will take in the garage and the mess plus time required I decided to have the local shop do all my blasting and cleaning.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.

Yes it will,it was only 19 bucks originally,What it is is just a inline tap that attaches to the wand with a hose you drop into a bucket of sand.Dead simple.

Thank you so much. Seems like a good way to clean scale and paint off my cylinder. No need to worry about breathing it as water keeps all dust away.

I just got one of these in a different brand, but same principle. Haven’t tried it yet, but the plan is a big bucket of baking soda and see what can be done with that! Nice oil get it going I’ll post up results.
IF it isn't one thing, it's another.

I have a Cyclone blast cabinet and dust collector , it a one piece molded plastic unit , lid opens as well as door on the side . you can find them in the MSC catalog , way better than harbor leaky freight ones. Not real expensive

Bluntz, Thanks for posting that attachment that hooks onto a pressure washer. I can see some great uses for that. I already have a pressure washer just need to get that attachment.

For what it's worth... I bought one of those attachments for your pressure washer wand that syphons the material and mixes in the nozzle, from Amazon. Like the Harbour Freight thing as mentioned. And first time around the track it really did a great job on a DT 250 head. Left with a light greyish tone of aluminum. Not bad , looks good. I used a 10 lb bag of "play sand". I've long forgot where I purchased that stuff but it works good. I guess it was intended for a todlers play area of sand. Only used about a1/3 bag.
I can't wait to try it with soda on a aluminum casing.
