Hi there. I loved every minute of my ride i can tell you! I put the number plate downthere just because i thought it looked better. Im trying to keep any modifications drastically different to stock so it becomes obvious whats original and whats not. Id use original parts but the costs and unavailability of many pieces in the UK have put me off a full restoration. Ive also tried to not modify any of the few original features of the bike. The number plate is actually mounted on a bracket fixed to the bolt where the chain gaurd would normally go. You never know one day i may gather up enough missing parts to restore it but for now its a useable machine and its about the most fun bike I own!

There are many different views on what a bike should be or look like ...... all valid and right for each owner!! The most important thing in my opinion is getting them to a point of where you can use them as intended regardless of what parts you use or how correct they are ....
Looks like you have some good riding country up there!
