1968 Yamaha DT1 250 Enduro was created by bmorreng

Looking for some help on the value of a bike. It is a 1968 DT1 250 Enduro, that only has 1.1 miles on it. It was shipped to a local dealer and then put in his private collection until he recently passed away.

More Pictures have been uploaded for everyone to see.

Thank you in advance for any advice you can give.

.

You've came to the right place for an accurate appraisal.

Would you mind posting some more pictures of this bike ? . . . that would really help us help out.

Wow! I would have one request before you sell it (or really do anything with it). Talk to the moderators of this site and put together a plan for photographing your bike. Things like cable routing, lettering/sticker placement, etc. would be hugely helpful to the restoration guys on this site! (And just hugely entertaining for the rest of us!)

The reason I ask for more pictures, is to help authenticate the story being presented.
I'm already questioning it's originality after glancing at this single photo.

Well, 'the Speedometer" shows 1.1 miles, but it is a probably
a 69-70 Speedometer, based on the Odometer Knob which appears
to be the shorter Knob used in the following years. :beerchug

Below is the longer - 68 Odometer Knob.

* The photo above has a later-year Odometer Knob Rubber-Cover. :EEEK

Doesn't look like a 1968 speedo.

I am adding the fact the speedo is a 1969-71 unit. it is the wrong speedo for the 1968 DT1.

still I would like to see more of the bike itself. :Subscribe

Chrome bars didn't fare too well for being put in a collection to preserve it.

Perhaps another indication that this is a scam....
