1971 RT1 color was created by Sniper X

I have just acquired what decodes to a 1971 RT360. RT1J as so the decoder says? What color was it stock? Its an enduro not an MX. I got all the stock street stuff and  wiring harness with it along with a stock pipe, 1971 Hooker expansion chamber, and a kinda dinged oil tank which has been removed long ago. It was converted to an MX bike long ago. I know absolutely nothing about the original owner. Is there a service where I can give the VIN and find out its history?  I plan to totally restore it and ride it. I got my first bike in 1972, a JT2MX.
