Info needed ASAP on bike transport company of choice. was created by pabdt
Any recommendations out there? The distance is about 440 miles in the same state, Calif. This could require me to buy a bike site unseen, but I have done worse.

I've used haulbikes, a bit slow, but took good care of my RT3 and price was better than others. Reminded me of the saying: you can get fast/cheap/quality, pick 2. If it's fast and cheap, you probably won't get quality.

I had uShip.com deliver 5 Enduros from all over the country. Reasonable cost, excellent service. All were transported in enclosed trailers.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.

Where to where in the state? I tend to roam over a good chunk of the far north pretty regularly and could always put it in the garage until you find a ride for it.

Nice bike, with year correct clocks!
Funny how those little black plastic covers for the allen bolt heads (clocks mount and handlebars) always go missing!

This is an interesting DT3. Obviously needs a few things, but owner notes a CNC clutch setup so chain guard won't fit.
Is the clutch hard on the chain guard bracket enough to do this mod? I have not owned one of these so just asking. Noted, from several ebay engine cases, there are always broken bases for bolts from chain guard.

Great condition but it really needs a title at that price!

In Calif, there are lots of fees on transfer, title, registration, insurance as you know. I'm starting to find "title jumpers" out there out-number the rest of us. Disclaimer: Do not know why this person did not title his.
Found an RT3 masquerading as a 74 DT 360. Tank painted green (messy paint), front fender was 74, rear shocks 74, headlight basket 74, advertised as 73 DT 360. I'm thinking, I can turn it back in to an RT3. When I asked the owner for title in his name/dmv status, he responded by telling me it needed turn signals to be street legal. ...shaking head. not what I asked.
