Public service announcement..

Came across a very recent you tube test to determine which, if any fuels in the UK still contain zero ethanol even though branded as E5.

Esso Synergy Supreme 99, Shell V Power and Tesco Momentum 99 all contain zero ethanol, at least in England.

Vid here testing Tesco fuel.  He also mentions the shell and esso premium fuels as being ethanol free within the vid.  Cannot seem to find the other test videos he did it these other fuels earlier.

Here in the US, there is a difference between winter and summer fuel.  Pumps say "may contain" and "up to" whatever percentage.  Ethanol content is lower (or missing) in winter and goes up in summer.   So the timing of when they tested can make a difference. 

Easy to test for ethanol.
