Manuals are in Tech Library.
I believe stock was 16/45. Experienced CT3 members like DVM have recommended 17/45 for the stock CT3.

If you plan to do a lot of street riding then using a 17/45 ratio will definitely add to the stock CT3's top end which will help you keep up with street traffic.

Thanks for your replies , would this be with a 110 link chain and using either the 16 / 45 or 17 / 45 ?

Sorry, I can't answer that... I always buy something like a good quality RK chain that is plenty long and shorten it to fit.

To clarify, the main reason I buy long chain (Usually 120+) and cut it is because I've been burned by buying the exact chain size in a list and have it end up short.
Case in point, an expert member that doesn't post here much anymore just texted me saying that the stock CT3 chain is 114 links and that you need a slightly longer chain to run a 17 tooth (so 116).
I have chain tools but if you have a grinder you can shorten a chain by grinding the rivet heads off the plate and using a small punch to knock the pins through the plate. Remember that you need to remove the nearest long-enough outer link so the connecting master link works.
(While they do make "half links" (which is really one link) they are weak and not that easy to find these days.)
