Fuel tank graphics was created by HashBrown
I'm painting the fuel tanks on a 75 DT250 and a 73 AT125. I'll be applying new new decals and was trying to decide whether to clear coat the base coat and then apply the decals, or apply the decals on the base coat and then clear. Any suggestions? Trying to keep it as original looking as possible, Thanks

Original had no clear coat whatsoever as far as I know.
Modern decals often specify clearcoat must be applied over the top.

I get graphics from Yamatopdog classic graphics from ebay.com. I clear coat them and I think I read he advises to clear coat some. I rubbed through the black and ruined one of mine so I clear coat them . Nothing to do with the quality, it was my own fault. Plus I hate it when you get strands of material under the edge of uncoated graphics.
Pros and cons to both.
