XT250 Stator wiring question

Hi all , trying to wire up my new loom & rewired stator , can anyone tell me what the blue wire is for as it has no connector  &  i cannot see it on the wiring diagram in the manual.

Neutral light?

I did think neutral light but there is no switch to put it to ?

There should be a neutral switch in the side of the case off the end of the shift drum if I remember correctly.

In any case that "sky blue" (sb) is the color Yamaha used for the neutral switch in that era. 

The photos you're posting are pretty useless in terms of identifying a neutral switch or even looking for it on the wiring diagram.  So all I can suggest is "look harder".

The PO has removed the neutral switch for a bolt !!!!! no wonder its not there ,
