Put new fork seals in my 360 today and I found a safe way to use my RevZilla seal remover. My previous attempt with this tool on my 250 left me with a cracked lower. Ugh!
So this time I disassembled the pry hook from the handle and slipped some large flat washers over the stem of the handle and then reassembled the pry hook. Then I used the perfectly shaped pry hooks simply as a hook. No Pry!
Each whack of the hammer moved the seal ever so slightly without inducing any forces against the opposing wall. Redneck slide hammer!

Schu, Nice!
I did something different with the same type of tool. I ground it down so when using it I was pushing straight down on the opposite side while prying up. I used a wood shim on top of the aluminum and pried and prayed! It worked but I like your method better. Maybe I could post a picture next time I replace fork seals.

Good idea! I've been putting off putting seals in my DT400's forks because I was not looking forward to doing this. Thanks for the video...
