Good afternoon everyone!

    So, I turned 16 recently, & my folks got me a 1972 Enduro 100 for my birthday. Not only is this my first motorcycle, it's also my first motor vehicle of any kind whatsoever. Let me tell ya, that thing's a beaut'! In really great nick too, externally at least!
Needless to say, I'm a complete novice to anything with a motor. However, I'm more than willing to learn. I was hoping you might be able to give me some tips & advice! Is there anything I should know about Enduro's, or perhaps motorcycles in general? What should I know about general care & maintenance of an Enduro? How hard is it to get a motorcycle like an Enduro street-legal? Any & all help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi, i see you started two posts might be best to combine them somehow.
I answered on the other one. All good.
Then again, i might be wrong if they're two unrelated questions IE problems solving or general maintenance.
So seperate post might work best. I'll let others sort me out haha.
Lets sort its main running issues first then worry about general maintenance. All good.

Hi and welcome to the club! You'll want to find an owners manual and factory service manual to help you maintain your bike. Below is a link to a combined service manual, but I couldn't find the owners manual on this site. Hopefully someone else can point you to it. A decent set of tools and a torque wrench should be on your short list if you don't yet have any. Good luck!

Keep the kick stand tightened, they come loose on the smaller cc bikes. Find an old guy who had a 2 stroke to help get it running. Your post started off like it was from every member here lol. These bikes are smokers, supposed to be that way.
