DT3 Carb Parts or Swap was created by bhepp15
My dt3 has carb trouble. The topic "DT3 condensor relocate" will tell the tale of what the issue is. Shortly, gas is getting past the needle and causing a rich mixture due to 1 or more of these parts. I need an emulsion tube (137-14143-30-00), needle (168-14116-07-00) & or float bowl (275-14181-12-00), sadly I dont see any of these parts for sale in my typical avenues so I either need to find them somewhere or get a new carb. I am not opposed to carb swapping and going to spigot type, but havent been able to find great info on what spigot works to convert or what exact carb to swap in. This is the first enduro I ever bought and really want to get it up and reliable again as I have since bought a CT3, RT3 and DT175 that I have successfully brought back to life but unfortunately my favorite one has caused turmoil throughout.

You've cross referenced some of your numbers incorrectly , so even if you'd found the parts , they wouldn't have been correct
for your DT3 .
The parts you were looking for
Needle jet ( 164 ) N - 8 214-14141-28
Jet Needle 5DP7
Carb Bowl 214-14181-00-33 or 214-14181-00
The needle jet may no longer be available as a new mikuni part , but a google search under 164 N-8 might turn up something .
The needle is readily available ( Niche Cycle )
Any DT1 or DT2 float bowl will suffice . DT 2/3 bowls are painted black , thus -33 suffix to part number
for your DT3 .

Have you tried replacing Oring #7, that cures most problems because if it's not a tight fit in the bowl the fuel mostly bypasses the mainjet & goes very rich. Sounds like you must be way past 'that problem' to need the needle & emulsion tube needle jet.

Thank you for correcting the part #’s that’s just what I pulled off of the parts diagram on Yam parts wearhouse. I’ll see what I can find.
yes I have replaced that O-ring 4 separate times making sure that’s not the case. The way I get it to run the best right now is to detach the needle from the slide and let it sit in the tube.
sounds good MarkT let me know what you come up with!

Found the carb, 311E2 original, looks complete. I will check it out later today and send pics... PM me your email... not sure if I have it.
