AT 2 125 engine into CT2 was created by djetmb
I have a chance to buy an AT2 125 engine in good condition and wanted to swap into my CT2. Why you ask?
12 volt electrics for one. I would also do the 175 barrel/piston swap. I've done that before and have all the parts so that's easy.
Yes, the electric starter struggles but it's a fair trade off.
I assume the AT battery box will fit the CT?
I'm retired so these projects help keep my sanity.
There is the Vape 12 volt kit too. Anyone done this conversion?
Thoughts and comments? Thanks for your attention.

I see nothing that says this won't work. I am certain that you will make the 12V battery box work, that should be the only hang up.

You'll need to swap pretty much the whole electrical system.

If ya not worried about electric start & just ignition, you could run a very small 12 volt battery & back the charging off to a minimum.
I'm forgetting you're probably running lights.
