Ct3 exhaust gasket

Ct3 exhaust gasket was created by Barrya

Just found out my ct3 has in fact 2 gaskets on the exhaust front where it connects to the head....the stringy padding one (2481462310) is missing....i have just ordered one but never done this before so does anyone know how to correctly fit this?ie where it goes ...i know the round one goes in the head and butts against the exhaust ...thanks barry.

The stringy one is pushed into the flange from the front, then you mount the pipe, but I had great luck making strings of high temp orange RTV on wax paper, letting it set over night, and using it instead of the string.
