Welcome from NZ.
If you weren't half a world away i'd be 'into it'.
Sounds like you're in there & looking so is it possible to link a few pics via an external link thingy like Imgur seeing the site one is out of action.
Someone from your side of the world will be along soon i think.
I have an AT1 that thinks its a CT3 with a later 175 top end.

Have you taken the clutch cover off to confirm if so pictures would help us get you back on the road

Greetings from the UK.
Have you actually got the cover off and seen the broken gears with your own eyes?
If so pics of the gears and the inner end of the kickstart shaft would be helpful.
If you are just assuming that the gears have stripped because the kickstart is not engaging or only engages sometimes, that could be a much simpler and less expensive repair.

Did gear behind clutch basket break in two? That happens sometimes.
