I always though larger modern off road capable bikes have really tall seat heights which is one of the reasons I like the old Enduros...

It turns out I was wrong...  Yamaha does make a modern off road capable bike with a low seat height!

(Fast forward to about minute 12 for some impressive single track.)

Replied by AirborneSilva on topic I found my next bike... a modern Yamaha "Enduro".

Thanks for the video Mark, was fun to watch.

I stayed away from modern Enduro bikes too because they are just so darn tall but when I saw the T7 I just had to have one.  I'm 5'6" with a 29" inseam, when the T7 was delivered I couldn't ride it since both feet were dangling about an 1 1/2 inches off the ground (didn't feel comfortable with sliding butt off to one side since the bike it a bit top heavy), anyway I ordered some lowering dog bones and lowering springs for forks, now I can just about get both balls of my feet on the ground or if I slide off to one side I can pretty much flat foot one foot.  I'm getting used to the bike and LOVE it!
