Need help with identifying what I have was created by Kehoebrandon

Vin number is 2w6-006835 side of motor says 650cc haveing trouble finding any info on it

 from near Salisbury, UK.

2W6 is the VIN code for a 1979 IT175F.

Is there an engine number, is it a Yamaha, has someone really shoehorned a 650cc motor into it?!

I'm guessing that Kehoebrandon is referring to the transmissions oil capacity numbers, that are cast into the engine side cover ... next to the oil filler hole.
